Safe in Malaysia

Just a quick check-in to let you know that we are safe and sound here in Penang, Malaysia. As many of you know, a plane crashed in Phuket, Thailand yesterday, and we’ve received some concerned e-mails. We actually flew from Thailand to Malaysia yesterday, but had no problems. Now, we’re off to go explore this historical port-city. We’ll write with updates soon.
Exactly, I was thinking of you. I am from Austria and the plane that crashed had a couple of Austrians in it. It was quite shocking because all the stories that were told about the crash are really frightening.
ANYHOOOO, you guys will not be on a plane that crashes!!!
I’m relieved to know that you two are safe and sound.
SADLY, it has just been confirmed that Derek’s fantasy football team (0-2 record to date) has crashed and burned somewhere between Pathetic Management, Thailand and Pitiful Drafting, Malaysia.
